Founded, owned, and operated by true Florida Natives, Pontoon Party grew out of a love for South Florida’s waterways and a history of experience in the marine industry. We offer locals and tourists alike the unique experience of a day on the water with friends! There are many things to do in Fort Lauderdale but a day (or night!) packed with fun on the water with friends and family is almost impossible to beat.
What We Do
Pontoon Party offers bareboat charters out of Fort Lauderdale, FL. Our trips range in duration, usually lasting between 3 and 8 hours. Depending on the boat you choose, we can accommodate up to 49 guests plus crew per boat. Our party boat charters can take you to a range of destinations and show you a ton of sights along the way. Cruise up the New River, party at the Sand Bar, hop around the local waterfront establishments, and more!
We provide the boat, sound system and a cooler with ice, and you bring the party!

Bachelorette parties, birthdays, family reunions, corporate events and more have all been enjoyed aboard out fleet of charter boats. Your party will be memorable when you share it together aboard a safe and fun pontoon with us! Every minute of your trip with be Instagram worthy and if you spring for Miss Pontoon, you even get a water slide and onboard bathroom for the ultimate in on-the-water features! Our location minutes from Fort Lauderdale Beach, Port Everglades, Fort Lauderdale International Airport, The Convention Center, and the major highways in the area positions us minutes from most of the major hotels and activities. Our trips are family friendly and can be tailored to suit exactly what you want to do on the water.
A Range of Sights and Activities
Fort Lauderdale is known as the Venice of America for a reason. The city itself is criss-crossed by a series of rivers and canals including the New River and the Intracoastal Waterway. The New River cuts through the heart of Downtown Fort Lauderdale and its activities and nightlife, wiggling its way between skyscrapers and on-the-water restaurants and bars. The Intracoastal, which runs all the way to Maine, separates Downtown from Fort Lauderdale Beach. You’ll see houses and boats worth millions of dollars each, you’ll see kids cruising on small boats and 150′ yachts owned by the rich and famous. Our private charter pontoons can take you to restaurants directly on the water for food to go and some quick boat drinks. Some of the most fun can be had at the world famous Fort Lauderdale Sandbar where you can anchor and play in water only a few feet deep. The sandbar also features food boats on the weekends and there are plenty of opportunities for people watching with all the boats that come and go. While you can’t fish off our boats, you may see dolphin, stingrays, or a wide range of aquatic birds.
Different Trips for Different Desires
Pontoon Party offers a range of cruising charters to suit a wide range of needs. We offer discounted weekday trips Monday through Thursday (excluding holidays) for those looking for a budget friendly option, in fact our weekday sunset trips are a local favorite, perfect for unwinding after a day at work. We also offer a full range of day and night charters on a variety of boats to give you flexibility and a choice of amenities. Our flagship, Miss Pontoon, is a double-decker with a huge sundeck and a waterslide along with a wet bar for laying out food and drinks as well as basic onboard toilet facilities. Miss Pontoon is often chartered for corporate events and is perfect for temporarily decorating in your corporate identify for on-the-water promotions and giveaways and can accomodate a small band/DJ setup, generator and other options for your corporate event.
Was That You Guys in the Boat Parade?
Pontoon Party has proudly participated in the The Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade annually since the 2019 parade! You may know us as the Rudolf boat as the past two years we’ve had a 20′ inflatable Rudolf the Red-nose Reindeer on board. We grew up watching the boat parade every year so we make it a priority every year to decorate and participate, both for ourselves and for all the other kids watching like we did. Each year we strive to make our display bigger and better and we are proud to have already won a number of awards in this fun event! Keep an eye out for Pontoon Party every year because you never know what we’re going to do!

Pontoon Party takes pride in having well-maintained boats equipped with all of the required safety equipment; Safety is priority one when on the water. Our boats are regularly updated and equipped with new features. There is a lot of wear and tear when you manage charter boats, but we do our best to keep track of the little details as well as the big ones. Comfortable seating, easy access in and out of the water, amazing stereos and cleaning and sanitizing schedule keep our boats looking their best so your photos always look amazing.
